Approach

Not every project needs the same path. A clearly outlined website starts differently from an existing specialist system that has to be examined first.

The approach therefore follows the task. A few principles always apply.

Understand first, then build

At the start, the question is not about programming language, platform or AI model. First it has to be clear:

  • What should be achieved?
  • How does it work today?
  • Where is the actual problem?
  • Who works with it?
  • Which conditions apply?
  • How can you tell that the solution works?

Only from this follows what needs to be built. That way, no technical solution is fixed before the problem is understood.

The right way in

Start right away

If the task is manageable and clear, a project can start right away, for example a clearly defined website or a smaller application.

Analysis

If it is still unclear where the cause lies or which solution would make sense, the work starts with an analysis. It covers the current situation, the people involved, existing tools and the most important requirements.

The result shows where action is needed, what already works and which steps make sense. The analysis is a result in its own right and comes with no obligation for a follow-up order.

Concept

The analysis results in a concept: what gets built, how it is structured and in which steps. For a small project it is compact. For a complex system it records tasks, boundaries, data, roles and interfaces.

The concept is the basis for your decision on implementation.

Review

If a system, an architecture or a process already exists, it is checked specifically. What is examined is what works, where weaknesses or risks lie and what should actually change. What has proven itself stays.

Pilot

For new solutions or ones that are hard to assess, a limited part is built first. The pilot answers a specific question:

  • Does the approach work technically?
  • Is the process usable in everyday work?
  • Does the AI deliver reliable results?
  • Does the change bring the expected benefit?

Based on the result, you decide whether to continue, adapt or stop.

Built step by step

Development starts once the concept is in place, in steps that can be checked one by one. After each step it is visible what has been achieved and what comes next.

Decisions stay visible

In longer projects, requirements change. New insights emerge, assumptions turn out to be wrong, a planned feature is no longer needed.

Key decisions are therefore recorded. That way it remains clear later why something was built a certain way, and the same fundamental questions do not have to be discussed again and again.

One point of contact

Advice, concept, development and operation stay in the same hands. Hardly any knowledge gets lost between phases, and you do not have to explain your project again at every handover.

Staying independent

A system should not only be understandable to the person who built it. Structure, key decisions and interfaces are documented so that other specialists can follow the work and carry it on.

You should not have to stay with Kropf Systems just because nobody else understands what was built.

AI with clear limits

AI is measured by its task like any other part of a system. Where errors can have consequences, a check or a human decision is needed. What may be automated is decided by you for each use.

After the rollout

A system is rarely finished with its first use. Bugs get fixed, requirements change, and operation shows where further improvements are worth it.

The solution can therefore also be run, maintained and developed after the rollout, as far as you need it.

The next step

If the task is already clear, implementation can be discussed right away. If the way forward is still open, a description of the current situation and the desired result is enough to start.
